hey guys.. i need a bit of help here... i have never had trouble burning VCDs before... but today, i came across a problem...

when i went into nero, i chose the .avi file and said ok.. it came up and said it was an unsupported file format...
so i looked around on forums, and people mentioned a program called TMPGENC... i downloaded this and tried it.. it would accept the .avi file as an audio source? but it wouldnt accept it as a video source? again, it said - just like nero - it was an unsupported format...

    HELP!!!!

*added bit* i just tried opening the files in media player, and it played as just an audio track.. yet on my laptop (where i downloaded it) it plays correctly...

Do you have the proper codecs the avi requires. There is a program called gspot that will tell you what codec the file needs!
