Hey all. I am so sorry to be a pain but I haev a new Ilo DVDR05 recorder player adn am trying to get it all hooked up and can't. I have a 2002 Magnavox and had to get an RF Modulator to complete the connection and I still can't get it to work, hence the nickname "Imadummy" Can anyone help me, please?
You didn't specify what exactly the problem is. You have to cable the recorder to the RF converter and the RF converter to the TV. Your TV will need to be tuned to whatever channel is selected on the converter to see the recorder.
My problem is similar. I just bought the Ilo DVDR05, but I want to use it as a "slave" unit to my VCR. All I want to do is dub segments of my VHS tapes to a DVD. My system seems to be maxed out. In other words, my cable in is already split between my Cable Box and my VCR. I record directly from TV to the VCR and only want the DVDR as a copier. Any ideas? Thanks.
