Im recording some videos off my Playstation and making a video of them. I use a Pinnacle Rave PCTV. Im using Microsoft Movie Maker 2. But when i try to convert my entire project to video file,a window pops up saing theres a error with Movie Maker and it has to close. And its going to send an error report to microsoft. Im not sure whats up. A couple questions. Can i use the files that i captured straight from the PCTV and drag them to Movie Maker? Or do i need to convert the captured files, and THEN drag them to Movie Maker? And do all files in the Movie Maker Project need to be encoded the same- for it to save to a video file-?(Divx, avi , mpeg)
Should it make any difference if i capture with the Pinncale PCTV, or with Movie Maker 2? Someone on another board staed this "i've had problems using video imported with other programs. I think it's a DV type I versus type II issue. WMM2 uses type 1 (i think) and the other progs use type II. try capturing the video with WMM2 and see if you have the same probs.
