Help!!! I cant copy a movie to a dvd player

    Hi, i have a movie on my PC which is 707MB not to big considering its a moive, i am currently trying to copy it onto a dvd so i can play it on my dvd player, but i dont how to, ive tryed using nero exspress and divx player, all these are drag and drop methords, when using nero all i did was go on super dvd, then drag and dropped it and it started encodding it, got through what it was doing and said error, i managed 2 copy a disk off on divx playing using drag and drop then clicking burn, but my dvd player just said error, and refused 2 play. could anyone help copy my movie from my pc to a dvd so it will work on a dvd player.     what file format are you trying to burn ? Avi ?

    this, most likely, is an AVI file. Using Nero Express won't do it! Use Nero Vission, here's a guide for you:

    and next time show a Nero log so we can see what's going on, located here;

    Nero 6 history log location: Program Files>Ahead>Nero>NeroHistory.txt

    Nero 7 history log location: Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.tx

    ive looked at the file under propertys and it says:
    type of file: windows movie, but if i go on summery it says: video compression divx?!?! WB
