I just recently downloaded an update for Zonealarm from their official website. I go to update Zonealarm and an error occurs. It says "Verifying Permission to Uninstall..." and then the blue windows screen pops up. It was a stop error and it said IOQL_DRIVER NOT EQUAL or something. I go to remove Zonealarm, it says "Shutting Down True Vector Internet Monitor" the same stop error happens again. Can anyone help me with this please? Thanks.
did you try uninstalling the program in "Add And remove Programs" ? or try uninstalling it with CCleaner
what's your OS and are you logged in as admin? Also first try end the ZA process in the background of your PC (ctrl + alt + del). |alafoss|
My OS is Windows XP Proffessional with SP 2. When I press ctrl+alt+del the task manager dosn't show up properly. It's supposed to have tabs at the top of the window but mine dosn't. I think my brother did something. And yes I am logged in as admin. And yes I tried uninstalling it using add and remove programs. My main priority is to update it but I can't for some reason.
bah. ZA use to be decently nice, but it got annoying. Ever since SP2 i have had no use for it. Id get a program to remove your ZA. Also thats weird your tabs are not appearing in task manager...have you rebooted your PC yet?
I asked my bro about the tabs in task manager he said he pressed something and it dissapeared... It's been like that for around 1 month now... How do I put the tabs back?
