I Just Bought a Gigabyte GA-K8vm800m motherboard, and it works great, runs smooth and fast, just one problem, i have no sound. I installed the audio drivers realtek that came with the motherboard, nothing, I went to gigabyte website and downloaded the drivers and still nothing i also went to realtek web site and downloaded the drivers and still no sound, i even used the device manager and uninstalled the drivers, rebooted my computer and let windows download audio drivers for them, i am lost, i have no idea what to do, please if anyone has any idea i would apprieciate it, thanks

do you have self powered PC speakers? check device manager for any question marks or problems with the sound drivers.

also check your volume control to see if speakers are muted

seems to point to a bad board. take the computer back to store were the motherboard was bought to see if they agree or disagree.
