This is getting expensive... Using DVD decrypter to rip DVD images from DVD-rs and ignoring any errors (should they appear) works beautifully. I find DVD decrypter burns dvd imgs fine, almost never a coaster... BUT when I try to make a simple data disk with nero, EVERY TIME I get a coaster! Sometimes I'll be able to access a couple of files, but most of the time there are major errors on the disc. I'm using ridata g04s too! This is gettin expensive. What's a better burning program to use for the creation of data discs? Help PLEASE. I'm starting to really frigging regret buying this thing. What a waste of money.
I just tried to write my compilation as an image (since I seem to be successful with images) using nero's image recorder... my whole system nearly locked up at 30%. came to a crawl. I had to abort the process since i figured that wasn't normal anyway. why is this happening? ugh nothing can be easy for me
Nero provides you with a LOG when you burn -- How about posting that log here so we can have a look at what is going on ?
Buy 1 or 3 dvd rw if this is your 1st time trying to burn movies. 1. Decrypter does not produce data files its produces ISO files that why you cant burn with nero as a data file. Decrypter is great software and is even greater if you are trying to burn a DVD(5)movie where no compression is needed. 2. Try another setup 3. Use DVD SHRINK WITH NERO (Shrink is freeware) 4. Shrink your movie with dvd shrink and then copy the files as a DVD data disk with Nero 5. There's always more then 1 way to skin a cat!! 6.Forgot to tell you DVD SHRINK will produce a folder with two(2)files AUIDO_TS and VIDEO_TS you can copy these files with NERO as a data dvd disk I know this will work for you. I only use decrypter when no compression is needed. KEEP IT SIMPLE !!
