help i need help on networking

    i have a 5 port switch and have 2 pc's and a ps2 connected to it
    i tried to use it on both pcs at the same time but one connects
    but the other dosent it says getting network address

    are you using windows xp? there is a network setup wizard, you tried using that?

    yes i got xp and i tried to use it but nothing same thing

    Ok I had a bit to drink at the moment so i can't think straight. i remember a while back i had the same - the message appears in a bubble at the bottom right of the screen right?

    I did manage to fix it but quite how i can't remember.
    uill get back to u tomorow.
