Help..i think my ntl box has frozen, not sure how to fix it

hi, thanks for reading, i hope you can help me...
my telewest box seems to have frozen the display is showing 8888 and three lights. i have tried re booting set, and have checked all wires are in, but this hasnt helped, any ideas?

 

Not being funny, but if its a box from a cable company and is owned by them, I would ring them and ask them, your paying for it

 

sorry, i never realised i posted twice my pc froze. no its 1 i was given.

 

I presume your talking about your subb box. Phone Customer Services to send an engineer or new STB out.

Usually 88:88 + 3 leds means it's dead.

last night when i put it on it froze on channel 101 so i re booted and 88 88 appeared i rebooted again and it worked, but shortly after this telewest did an update and then it went off again. so not sure if box is completely dead. thanks for replying
