    Hi,
Could someone help a newbie? I have purchased 3 or 4 games online and would like to now burn them to cdrom to keep in case my PC crashes and to copy them onto my daughters (she's 6) PC in the next room that is not connected to the internet. Is this possible to do? I have absolutely no experience burning cd's other than making a copy of her kids song cd using another cd with the program Roxio Easy CD Creator. My daughter would be tickled if someone could walk me thru this so she can play these games too.

    Thanks in Advance!

Are the games 1 file or a folder full of files?

I think you can use PowerISO, select burn, located image file, select drive you want it copied too.

If it's a folder full of files you can probably use Ashampoo and burn as a data file.

    Good luck. Hope that helps

    hi,
Thanks for replying. The games are located in their own files under program files. Will this make it easier to do? Sorry but I'm very new to this stuff and hopefully I won't annoy anyone ;o)

When you bought the games off the net were they in single ISO files or Zips?

The files in program files would be after installing the games.

I'm sure they were ISO because I do not remember unzipping anything. I did burn the whole file, I mean I browsed and clicked on *such&such* file under program files and burned that, installed it into my daughters pc, used my password & key and it plays but there is NO sound. What did I do wrong? I have a few others I would like to do for her but if none of them are going to have sound she won't play them, lol! THanks so much for being patient & your help!

Most games need the CD left in CD-Rom in order to play them. If you make copies of the original files you downloaded then they should work.
PowerISO would be the best program to use.
