I have 100 dollers to spend on modding my cube, I want a fliptop lid so i can use reguler dvd-r's & a decent modchip and installation.

Dose anyone know a store in toronto that has GC modchips and such?

Most of the stores in Pacific Mall only mod ps2 and xbox...... Someone please help me...

    What up, Zubi? Salaams.

I really really recommend that you do the mod yourself. But the chip and case top off the net, and do it yourself. The GC is as durable on the inside as it is on the outside.

I had no soldering experience whatsoever and managed to do it. I don't think I have a very steady hand either. And I didn't need the solder vacuum or a magnifying glass or any of that stuff. Putting a Qoob Pro in my NTSC DOL-001 Rev.A GCN took some some patience - less than two hours, but I've managed to troubleshoot all my issues fairly easily.

Why don't you do it yourself?
