Hi, I'm having trouble installing ram on my computer. I have an Asus P5k-e motherboard. I'm positive the cards are supported by the motherboard but I'm still having problems. I currently have 2 1GB Crucial DDR2 667 MHZ installed. I want to install 2 1GB Crucial DDR2 800 MHZ. When i have them installed I get no signal and my comp boots, but it doesn't do anything, no hardware failure beeps or anything. It might have something to do with my bios memory timings but am simply not sure how to set that up, or what values to put there. So any help would be appreciated, thanks.

what does the motherboard manual say for speed of ram that can be used? try reseating the ram. try 1 new stick at a time in each slot to see if any post at all.

Alright i tried installing them one by one and now they all work perfectly. I think it might have been that I should have tried installing the video card first then try adding more ram one by one. Either way everything works perfect now, thanks for the quick reply and support. My comp is running beautifully now.

if no videocard installed then nothing will show up on the screen. should have had an error beep for no videocard installed.
