HELP....INTERNET WONT WORK

    RECENTELY, i widpe drive my computert and reinstalled my windows xp pro along with all necessary drivers. i have time warner broadband hight speed. I still cant connect to the internet. I looked into the hardware from control panel and there are yellow asterisk all over.

    can anyone help me with this please?

    The yellow asterick means their is a conflict or incorect drive. You didnt do it right. The right order is wipe...windows....graphics and sound drivers....if you have nividia drivers for ata install those before sound or graphics.....then lan last. Either that or one of the drivers is corrupt. Post which ones have the asterick.

    you mean there's an actual order you should do that crap in?! haha, actually i didn't install the sound and video drivers till i got my internet card installed. then again, it doesn't really matter imo. just try reinstalling all your drivers

    Yes there is a proper order, Because sometimes certain drivers will overwrite other drivers and then you have nothing but problems.
