At Future Shop...I found a 250 GB HDD for 90$!!! (Canadian!!!) And not only is it in a retail box but it is cheaper than the OEM versions!!! (I don't know about online but I can't buy online but someone tell me anyway is there a good deal like this online)

    Anyway my question is:
Since I can't put any more HDD's on my MO-BO that is not SATA and since that HDD IS SATA, I need a way of making it work on my Mo-BO, so...I need someone to tell me...does something that turns the connections of a PATA HDD into SATA connections exist? If so...what is it called?

Please, help me! I need that HDD for video editing!!
    Thanks, in advance...

you can get a pata to sata converter but i wouldn't recommend it because u'd have to get rid of one of ur other hdd's, but either way they both cost about the same

Does that thing from Best Buy make SATA HDD's work on my PC? If so, that is not what I need. What I need is to make PATA HDD's work with SATA Connections cuz my comp has "space" for only SATA HDD's...

    Thx, in advance...

Before I consider purchasing such a thing I just need to know:
Is my motherboard (Asus P5GDC Deluxe) capable of having more than one PATA HDD at a time? So far (apparently), I can only have one optical drive, one PATA HDD and four SATA HDD's.
