Hey I really need some advice or pointing in the right direction, I have spent the last 2 hours searching and no luck. Basicaly I have just been using Jungle flasher on my Liteon drive, all went well at the start, keys were matching etc, these files were created dummy.bin inquiry.bin lite_cfw.bin serial.bin key.bin. identiy.bin Howvere when erasing I can't remmeber what i exactly did wrong, (maybe not powering on and off quick enough, but the drive does no longer eject, and also Jungleflasher no longer recognises the the drive :S I am sorry if this has been answered before but I really have been searching. Is my drive screwed? If not where can I go from here? any help would be great Thanks
You should be OK, you have you drive keys and it not ejecting as you have erased your firmware Take a look at this Thread, The principal is the same apart from your drive revision.
Thanks for quick prompt reply! feel stupid i did not come across that topic :-/ Ok that seems straight forward how ever my only concern is, I can't remember what I/o Port my drive was on to do the flash, is there way I can find this out?
If you havent changed it, then it will still be on the same one. If not, there should only be a few you can select from (if using via only mode)
I am using on sata port on the Mobo, so the via is not checked, unfortunatly I reeboted the computer straight after and have a list of about 10 choice :S
