ok so i go this laptop computer its a dell inspiron 2600 and when the dell screen pops up i get the error Windows could not start becase the following file is missing or corrupt \windows\system32\Config\System so i restart again and this time with the win xp cd in the drive and everything load and then ready for install i get this message that say that no hard drive is installed and there is one so i restart again and press F2 for setup and i see there is no hard drive but on is installed and cant go any further cause i get the errors all the times i try to boot to winXP
so i took the hard drive and and out in and out and then it read it so i started again and it said the same file corrupt message so then i restarted the computer again and start the windows cd and then prepares to install windows and then it says that there is no drive installed but there is one in there and please help me
