I just found this Krzr and the battery died. when mt friend brought me a charger to charge it, it turned on and ii had to put a unlock code for the phone. how can i get the phone to unlock? It works For Metro PCS and i would like to use this phone.
Call metro PCS and let them know that you found the phone and would like to return it to its rightful owner. Give them the phone's serial number, they'll know who it belongs to. The person who lost it most likely has reported it lost/stolen and Metro PCS has locked the phone to prevent someone from using it. (Each phone has a unique IMEI number and can be traced via this.) But if you insist upon playing with it anyways, try using GOOGLE. Personally I'd recommend returning the phone, the account has most likely been terminated anyways.
But is there any way like... I could use this phone being that i really like and it sure beats the crap out of my Nokia? Can I override this code or something like that?
Nope, once the number is registered, it is dead, unless you find a tech guru who will (Illegally) change the IMEI number to another one, you have a cute brick on your hands.
