Best deal, and why? any others you can find i will look at!
Why not post the URLs in their entirity? That would save us a lot of time... :S This is a horrible deal, mainly because that's about the slowest PC money can buy. Never start with trying to upgrade a prebuilt PC, stuff isn't always compatible, and this isn't even a good prebuild. There are $150 CPUs that are more than triple the performance of that CPU.
Sorry about the links. and so what should i buy? my price budget is around 400-500 or below. any ideas?
My mistake, after seeing the first one I ignored the others, assuming they were extra parts to upgrade, not other choices. Either way they're refurbished, which is always a bad thing. What are you using the PC for? That affects what specification it should have.
Why bad? i bought a refurb. laptop gateway fx from them for 850 and its been working great. I jut wanted a desktop that runs fast so i can give my laptop a break, etc. No need for playing games. My laptop has a 9800gtx
Refurbished PCs are repaired versions of faulty ones. Sometimes they work fine, but in general the reliability of refurbished PCs is substantially lower than new PCs. For $500 you will not be able to build a PC that will outclass a $1500+ laptop.
