my littele cousin was dinking around with my xbox (note:he is only 9) and i wasn't there at the moment and he apparently renamed a system file in C: called xboxdash.xbo to blah no idea but anyways i went to rename it back and accidently opened the file which gave me a black screen with green words...now when i boot my xbox i get that same screen. Now i am unable to use my dashboard...It kinda seems like a minor problem.. I just need to rename one file to fix it. But i hooked my xbox to my computer and of coarse i need to unlock it. I cant because i am unable to get the password because i use unleashx and because i cant even get in my dashboard. I just want to how to access my hdd just to simple rename one file..thanksa
When yoou have the black screen with the green words up, just put in the game you can run Linux on, then restart the Xbox. Resume Campaign on that game with Linux, and when Linux is being runned, FTP with it. You might need to chage some network settings around to help you FTP. You might have to restart your Xbox for the changes to apply, dependending on your dashboard.
