Help me need help theres no picture on screen

    I have a pc i think the video card is bad can anyone tell me what might be the problem When i turn the pc on it works well except when i hook up the monitor it still says check cables anyone know what might i do? I have everything plugged in maybe its a bad video card?

    Do you have another video card to test it out? Can you test out your video card on another machine?

    No I have no other pc i guess ill go buy another.It worked for awhile my girl said then it just went out.

    moved to correct forum as not a windows os problem. does the leds on the case flash as tho the computer is loading into windows except for no video?

    reseat the videocard to see if that solves the problem but dealt it will
