    ive burned an avi movie to an cd-rw and the movie goes out of sync when i play it in my dvd player and yes my dvd player plays avi files

    But it plays fine on your PC? What are the audio specs? mp3? Bitrate? Sample rate? avi interleave settings? Hard to give an answer when you provide no real details.
