HELP ME PEOPLE! MY MONITOR VISUALS APPEAR UPSIDE DOWN. My moniter SAMSUNG: SAMTRON 40Bn Resolution when problem occured: 1024x728 @32bits True colour I was surfing net as usual last evening when some there was a bit of Votlage problem(Screen flicked and brighness raised for a while) and in a FLASH my screen was upsidedown! It is returns to Normal when i: turn it to 800x600 @32bits True colour & lower OR 1024x728 @16bits High colour & lower. PLEASE help me out THANK YOU in advance.
Could be the monitor going south. If you have another computer that you can try it on, do that first. If it is the same as on your computer, then kiss the monitor goodbye. If it works fine on another computer, then it could be a problem with your video card. You could uninstall the drivers for the card and reinstall them to see if that works. If it doesn't, then your video card may be gone. It could also be a virus that you picked up while surfing, but that would seem pretty far fetched.
I know that ATI & Nvidia graphics cards have a function to rotate the screen. You could use that as a temporary fix. Dave
