Help me please dont know what too do

bought a usb laptop cable off cheapbay
trying to flash my superbox starview 3
followed the instructions on the page that mr celtic supporter left me many thanks
but when i hit download it comes up failed is there something im doing wrong
doing my head in not being able to watch tele

look forward too hearing from yourselves too try and fix my problem

 

You will need to install the Driver that came along with the USB adaptor above, If you dont have the Driver you can download it from here http://www.gilsson.com/usb_drivers_download.htm
I would also advise that if you have a PC with Windows Vista to get to a PC with XP installed rather than trying to get the USB adaptor to work, there has been no end of problems regarding this all across the Forum.

 

working off my laptop and i do have vista installed on the laptop

Got to agree with Des on the Vista thing, tried for 2 months to flash my box with vista as the operating system to no avail, eventually spent £80 on a second hand laptop that had the 9 pin port.

 

is it worth while disabling the vista security features so i can flash the box
it looks like im doing the right thing but just as i press download the box resets then after about 10 secs says fail and press retry but nothing happens at all

whats the best advice you would recommend

 

also what does it mean press the bin file and find the sw in the pc ??????????? my hairs nearly falling out
