Hey guys,in desperate need for your help... My CD writer/DVD player stopped recognizing cds and on top of that i have problems writing to cds.. please help me... whenever i insert a disc that has any media on it it takes too much time to read and usually dsnt read it.and if it does read it, it will tell me its a blank disk.. :S
Sounds like your laser is on its death bead and about to walk toward the light. Can't do much about it except buy a new one.
The thing is that it reads empty discs and i can perform burning operatons????!!! so how can it be on its deathbed
i agree with niobis sounds like your laser is on its death bed I had the same thing happen to me just like u it played some things. After a lil bit though it jutst stops readin them though. i would say it is time to start lookin for a new drive.
