ok so i totally screwed up my xbox so that now it has no dash i can access and was wondering how i would reinstall the MS dash onto it . I was thinking maybe remove the harddrive and hook it up to my PC to replace missing/damaged files but the only problem is i cant figure out what to replace so i think it would be easier to just replace all the files and transfer the ms dash from my computer to the xbox hd. And now this is where i really need help i need to find a place to download the files for the MS dash and then figure out where to transfer the files to If any could help me with this it would be GREATLY appreciated Thank You
Hard or soft modded? A wise man once told me to d/l a program called a.i.d 3.0 and it sure changed my life!!
ya sry i guess i forgot 2 specify its only softmodded and i dl aid 3.0 but for sum reason my xbox doesnt read the disk it goes to the microsoft screen and then goes to a black screen and freezes so if you had a link to a tutorial i could use i would appreciate it thanx
It could be possible that your Xbox reads CD-R's better. I downloaded the slayer disk a while back and it works perfectly on a CD-R.
also you can just purchase a solderless adapter and a mod chip and use slayers evox installer cd to restore the dashboard to the xbox warning though if you restore the dashboard with the wrong version you are tottaly messed up
