hi all can some one please help me with this prob i got ? k i downloaded w!! scrubber i make a key file i load the iso and then click scrub takes about 15 mins and makes a iso file the same size as orginal iso bt witht the word (compress) on end now i have tried 7zip winrar both on max compress setting both too about 30-40 mins to do and both time the file size is like the same size as orginal apart from 100-200 meg diff . my question is how do i get this to pack to like 600 meg or round about that like the files you see on the net this not for sharing it is so can store on my external hardrive. tia for any help on this guys thank you . jet
The amount of compression you can achieve will depend on the game. A complex came with tons of code and graphics is not going to compress much at all. Whereas, a simple one with few graphics will compress right down.
i hae alread tried to rar them and size doesnt change that what the prob is winrar is not making them any smaller
It might be easier to help you if you gave specific details of what you tried WiiScrubber gives you an approximation of the size of the Data partition in the top right hand pane - what does it say?
k m8 i load the the iso and top right it say disc dat size (4193377280)aprox 3999 mb number of files 21 region pal ok then i click scrub and it makes the iso bu then where i rar it it does not get any smaller tia jet
That is the approximate size that it will compress down to. There is a lot of data on that disk, it won't compress much! If you tried it on a simpler game disk you would get great compression
