I experimented with softmodding Halo 2 for a while, and I decided to go legit again because I liked matchmaking better. I had been using UnleashX, and installed teh softmod with Softmod Installer Deluxe 3. I booted up Splinter Cell and told it to restore my MS Backup. It succeeded, but now I can't access Live through the Dashboard. In troubleshooting, it gives me this message that says the box cannot communicate with Live because the hardware/software may have been modified. The weird thing is, I restored my MS backup several times b4 this and Live always worked. I was going to create a new account to play Halo 2, but I don't think I should right now because it'll probably get banned. Any suggestions on how to fix this error? Should I just call Support and lie to them about the modding, and would they be able to find any evidence??
