OK, so here goes.... i have new System. Bought jan 08. Up until a week ago I could convert and burn In 30 mins complete. Now all of a sudden, I can Still convert quickly....(using ConvertXtoDVD) but the Burning is taking up to 3 hours. I have cleaned with a lens cleaner, I have used air to spray out drives etc.... Can someone tell me why I might be having this problem? Lost, confused and completely frustrated. ShellyW.
Ok, So for all of you that may be having the same problem.... it's not your burner. To use a Burner it requires a program. Therefore it's a program error. Try uninstall and reinstall.... or try a new program. WORKED for ME AND I SOLVED MY OWN PROBLEM.
This is typical of DMA problems. Uninstalling the drive via Device Manager and rebooting usually rectifies this problem.
