xbox guru..please help me. I just installed Xecuter 3 CE in my xbox and now I have no idea where to go from here. I am a newbie regarding xbox. The installation was a success, but every time I power on the xbox, all I see the a screen that displays the current flash bios 3.01. I see a couple of options on the screen.. such as lock.unlock HD....etc. I have a version 1.6 xbox. How do I go about backing up my xbox games and getting it to play on my xbox. Am I missing something here? Please any help or advice would be greatly appreciative. how to put bios in my x box ,please help, i try many thing dident work,please help from any one......tnx
you need to flash the chip with the x3 bios...you can find it at the "usual places" sorry i can't tell you exactly where...search around the forums for #xbins...once you have obtained the bios, use the 1.6 version and flash your chip...after you have flashed your chip the xbox should boot into x3 configlive, from here you can ftp over a dashboard and apps.
Just flash the chip with the X3 bios,then use an auto installer,makes it alot easier.After you have installed one of the auto installers use ftp to upgrade an so forth. SlaYers Auto Installer FireFuckers Auto Installer Auto Installer Deluxe Search for one of the well know auto installers,alot of people suggest SlaYers which is a pretty good auto installer.It is up to you though any one of the auto installers I listed will work.Upgrading dashboards and other utilities is optional not really needed.
