    Hi,

I was hoping somebody could give me some advice.
I need to send a laptop to somebody in asia and I have a friend who is actually travelling there but he says he can't take it as a carry on luggage since he already has his own.
Would it be safe if he put the laptop carrying case in his suitcase and checked it in? Im concerned since those luggage handlers at the airport just throw these suitcases around and what the shock would do to the laptop. Its a brand new laptop still in its original packing...any tips on how to safely transport it in a suitcase?

    Thanks a lot

Just remember how it got to the store in the first place. Trust me when I say they all go for the ride of their life until we baby them. If it's in the original packaging with the Styrofoam, etc., good additional exterior packaging like the bubble wrap mentioned it certainly a plus.
