I can copy AVI files or MPEGS onto CD and play them on my Xbox Media Player with no problem. I try to do this with using a DVD it doesnt acknowledge there is anything on the DVD (though in my PC the files are there). I have had DVD's off my mate with video clips on and they work, it just seems to be the ones i write myself. I cant understand why it is fine with a CD and just has problems with a DVD. In the past i have managed to yse a DVD-RW and got it to work. I use Nero 6. can someone explain if it needs to be Open or Closed session etc. your help will be much appriciated, Dave
Well Dave, some DVD-RW's aren't compatible with the Xbox. But so I have found DVD-R to work great! I'm guessing that's your problem. But you should find some more information before going out and buying DVD-R's.
