OK, so I know there's a lot of stuff out there about this already, but I just can't seem to get it to work. I want to: 1. Rip Blu Ray to External Hard Drive 2. Stream Blu Ray over Network to PS3 Here is my experience: BDRebuilder - Creates m2ts which plays the commentary over the top of the BluRay but DOES work in Ps3 MakeMKV - MKV doesn't play on PS3 tsMuxer - M2ts or bluray disc options don't play in PS3 MakeMKV followed by tsMuxer - Doesn't play BluRay disc is VC-1 video and AC3 audio if that helps. Just want a really simple workflow to get it working! All help appreciated, thanks.
Over in software there is a ps3 streamer. Its for streaming media to the ps3. Have you got you ps3 networked?
Yup using Nullriver MediaLink - that's not the issue, it's the actual created file itself. I know it's networked fine because downloaded h264 files will play, just not my own!
Aight so there's something wrong wrong w/ the media. For starters a bluray disc created by tsmuxer will play on Ps3 if burned on to a disc. I don't know bout streaming the BDMV file though. What you can try is make an iso. Have you tried just putting the the M2TS file on the ps3 and playing it from there? Can you play your media on your pc ruling out a bad encode?
Have you tried Java PS3 Media Server? I have it and it works great. Are you trying to stream the whole Blu Ray Disc with the menu and everything or just the main movie/video?
