Does anyone know how to sort & delete channels on the SV4 USB?
The Channel Edit onscreen display for Sort & Delete is "grey-out", I can only select Favourite, P-Lock, Skip & Rename.

I've asked for help which the reply that I got has nothing do with my thread. I thought that was not allowed?

So please does anyone know how to sort the channels out i.e. put them in alphabetical order as that option is greyed-out?

Your quite crrect, it did go immediately off topic. As to your query unfortunately the S4 USB sorts the channels same as they appear on a providers subbed box and you cannot use the function, if you put a search in at the top with your query, then you may come across a post that may assist - such as using the skip function. I know it is a pain but that is the way it is, scans channels and puts them in the same order as the CC supplier has them, so sorry. Anyway try a couple of searchs such as this >>>>>>>>>>

there is a channel editor out for the staview 4 usb, created by "The Bish", have a look in the eko files and see if it is there, if not google it.
have used it myself and it does work 100%

Thanks for all the replies, I think I will wait for the next F/W update. The channel editor looks a bit complicated to me unless there is a idiot's guide, I will leave it as it is.
