HELP NEEDED TO BUILD MY PC

    Im looking to buy a new pc but i need advice,i want to be able to connect the pc to the tv watch tv on the pc.also i want to be able to down load cds dvds from torrents fater and then be able to record them with ease on to a blank dvd,the computer will be mainly for my music.I will also use it for internet and down loading torrants so i want advice on what i should be looking for or what would i need put in when i buy this computer can anyone advise me on this please...

    The speed at which you can download torrents is dependent on the specific torrent and its trackers, but more importantly your internet connection. Using an efficient client like uTorrent, your PC specs won't limit how you can torrent unless you've got something older than a Pentium 2.
    Watching TV on a PC and using a TV as a PC monitor are opposite. Which do you want?

    Yes the computer i have now is very old i only got it to learn about computers.yes im looking to conect my tv to computer as i have many channels on my pc that i want to watch through my tv.So would i need anything special put in the computer to make this more easy to connect pc to tv.

    You still seem to want to do it both ways...
    If you want to watch TV on your computer screen, you need a TV card. If you want to use a TV as output then you need an S-Video cable, or VGA if you have a HD TV.

    If u want 2 watch channels from the pc to ur tv, u will need a graphics card with tv out(yellow coloured jack)/s video out.
