Help needed unlocking a Nokia 6101 Please

Hi, I need to unlock a Nokia 6101.
The info are as follows:

Nokia: 6101
IMEI:357589009912479
Network: O2
Country: Uk

I have tried a couple of unlock codes but get no message as to unlock status

I have tried the number as supplied but when I insert the last # it just sits there with no message and doing nothing...Am I doing something wrong??

Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
Press the UNDO option
You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
Enter the code given and then press (OK)

I am the first person to try and unlock this phone
I bought it of a friend and I know for a fact she would not have had a clue how to do it or even attempt to do it as she was using it on O2,
Will I be able to get it unlocked if I take it to my local phone shop and they use cables???
What do you think??

Yes mate that will be fine just take the mobile to any shop that offer a direct unlocking service.
