Hi, sorry to post some of the same problems again but my computer crashed and i'm just up and running again. My problem is when i use VirtualDub to join AVI files i get this warning when adding the files: SOME WARNINGS WERE ISSUED DURING THE PREVIOUS OPERATION AVI Truncated or invalid compressed audio format detected (18 bytes, should be 36). Attempting to fix The files join as normal and the saved AVI file plays as normal. what does this mean and can it be fixed because the warning stays there until i add my next file to merge and i get the same warning. Can VirtualDub fix this and what difference will this make when i convert the file and burn it to dvd, will my audio be degraded. Thanx for any help.
I believe that VirtualDub did fix it (it said it was attempting to fix). Possibly one of the codecs used to create a file, did not follow the rules (as seen by Virtualdub).
