Hi all, Complete beginner with the Eurovox(sorry, another one I know!) and getting a bit desperate...it's a Eurovox 2008 box and I am in the County Dublin area, I'm on NTL MMDS (have a dish) and have checked everything is plugged in OK(cable into RF IN etc) and have followed the installation powerscan instructions the seller enclosed with it which are as follows... Start 300.00 Mhz Stop 870.00 Mhz synbolrate 6.952 mbaud symbolrate 6.887 mbaud step 8 It does its thing, and looks like it's scanning but in the end I get "No Transponder Detected"..I've tried putting in start as 200 and the stop as 400, I've tried putting in 6875 as the symbol rate but no joy...the thing is the channel numbers don't come up during the powerscan...can anybody help, as far as I know there was software installed with it...thanks! If it's any help when I go to config the model make reads DVB-XC Box V TDA.
OK you need to go to menu, config, clear data and then clear ch@nnel data. Then do a normal powerscan from 290.000 to 450.000 using symbol rate 6887 N*L IRELAND Press Menu > Config > System Info and tell us what it says please
Hi Celtic71, thanks for the tip, sorry for the late reply, I've tried your settings & clearing the channel data etc. and doing the powerscan but I'm still getting that No Transponder To Scan message. When it's finished doing the scan it goes back to the User Installation screen and you can see the Quality bar going up various percentages, but then it eventually gives me that No Transponder message. My system info settings are: Model: DVB-XC BoxV TDA S/W Ver: 1.0 STC4 Oct 29 2007 H/W Ver: 2.0t K5 Bootstrap: v001 S/W Build: Kuro Anything else I can try? Thanks a million for the help!
