help needed with interan hd caddy

    hi all just got an icybox internal sata hd caddy so put the hd in it with xp pro running on it,and this message appears

    WINDOWS COULD NOT START BECAAUSE OF A HARDWARE CONFIG PROBLEM
    COULD NOT READ THE SELECTED BOOT DISC
    CHECK BOOT PATH AND DISC HARDWARE

    i also have an ide drive running xp and on start up it asks me what drive i want to boot from ide at the top sata next,if i use sata without caddy they both work fine,just when i put sata in caddy its asif it cant find it at all
    any ideas would be great

    even when no second drive is installed it gives the option to boot from it and i get that message appear

    if i have the wrong caddy to boot from what do i need to get cheers again

    Is this USB? If it is, you can't boot windows from a USB Hard disk (caddy or not), without extensive modification to the operating system.
