I managed to rip the audio from a video cassette tape to my hard drive using this prog. I have never used it before and thought that I would be able to burn the audio to a DVD...but I dont know how (YEP, I have tried)...can it be done. The length of the resulting audio file is approx 140 minutes..far too big for a CD...is there a way I can split the file and make 2 CDs if it's not possible to burn audio to a DVD...(once again I've tried) Cheers.
Hey LOCO, Thanks for taking a look...the file says wav and then windows audio, if that makes any sense, Cheers.
Well I have heard of making an Audio DVD before, just forget where and how. If you want the 2 cd method well the only way i can think of would be to encode the WAV into an AVI, then load this in nandub or virtual dub mod and choose to output the file size as 700mb. Then load the resulting AVI files back into Virtual Dub Mod. Go to Streams->Stream List->Save Wav. Repeat on the next video. Hopefully this will results in a 2 wav files of CD length. Confusing but it might work lol.
I would suggest you seek out wilkes in the High Res audio forum as he is truely a guru and this is what he does for a living... http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/90
Thanks for the suggestions, I did the project over again...this time I divided it into 2 X 74 minute files and burned accordingly, Cheers.
