Help needed with Starview "The Box" reciever

I'm hoping some of you on here can help me.

I have got a starview "the box" reciever. What is happening is that after about 6 or so seconds the picture is freezing. Then about 20 seconds later I get a screen with "The Box" logo on it which eventually comes back to the picture where it works for another 6 seconds and loops with the issue.

What is going on and how do I fix it ? I cant access the menu to do a factory reset it wont let me.

Sounds like a firmware issue. Press menu, system info and post back what it says please.

Thanks Sc0user you were right it was the firmware.

I had my brother have a look at the box and he updated the firmware. Box is working like a charm now.
