DVD Shrink - use it in the re-Author mode :)

    Enjoy,

You can jsut use shrink. Uncheck the box next to whatever you dont want. (you can usually get rid of quite a few audio tracks). Or, if you would prefer to keep your special features, you can compress them down farther to preserve the integrity of your movie.

    zach,

You can't uncheck any kind of box to get rid of extras -

    You MUST use re-Author !

    Soza,

Use a freeware program named DVDStripper which allows you to remove all the extras and this improves your movie quality while still retaining the menu. But if you just want the movie with no menu then use DVDShrink's re-author mode to copy the movie only with no menus. This should improve your movie quality big time.

and yet another method should you wish to maintain your menus, Nero's recode 2 -

You can maintain movie quality but you cannot "improve" your movie’s quality from the original. Should you have to compress your movie even the tiniest bit, it will still decrease the movie's quality. The improvement of the movie's quality is a theoretical impossibility.

Hey -tybytiger- what do you meen you can't copy a movie using Nero? Just open the Nero and select "Burn image to disc" Then select what folder you have your image in and burn it.

If I'm not helping at all let me know, maybe I can explain it more detail-Kind of in a hurry to get home-YA KNOW.

    Scuba,

Thanks for the correction. I should have wrote "back-up" or "copy quality" instead of "movie quality" given there is compression.
