can someone please help me? my internet settings are all wrong, i cant install activex controls, & when i try to connect to microsoft for updates, i recieve an error. the error is:[Error number: 0x80072EFF]. does anyone know what this means? i tried a search on google, but that only threw up more questions. i think the error has something to do with not being able to install the activex comtrol.. can anyone tell me what settings i should use? my internet connection is through an ethernet adapter, i use telewest broadband(so unhelpful). i could do with some help here.. thanks.
im not sure if this will help but i made sure my active x settings were good and i still have no active x but its under tools<internet options<security<custom level<scroll down till u see active x controls
