Help :Norton System Works 2004 conflicts

    I installed Norton System Works 2004;
    After which my DVD-ROM/CD-RW drives DO NOT work
    I keep getting the msg that the dvd or CD inserted is not in the correct format
    I had also purchased other Norton software, but did NOT install due to fear.
    My OS: Windows 200 Pro
    Is there a way to run my DVD & CD drives and still run NSW??????

    Have you tried uninstalling System Works '04? I have System Works '03, and '04 on another pc and I haven't had any problems. What drive are you using?

    I think he might be talking about a virtual drive. I've had problems with virtual drives, using software like NSW...

    I dont understand ---
    My cd-rw drive - sofware Nero
    My DVD ROM + CD_RW combo drive - software Powerdvd

    OS Win 2000 Pro
    Integrated mother board
    133 MHz PCI RAM 128
    Do you need further info???

    I'll try uninstalling - but is there a way OUT???
