help on how to burn a movie file into a dvd-video with nero 7?

i have nero 7 and i have a dvd rip of waiting but not in vob every time i go and drop it in to video_ts it wount let me but when i drop it in audio_ts it works but when i go to burn it useing a dvd-r it takes less then 5 min and when i play it on a dvd player it says "no video data" and "no audio data" how can i get it to burn and play in my dvd player?
