hi i wnated to edit out the commercials in the movies "The Other" i was told to download virtualdub,and i did. i left everything default and started playing with it , and i saw the last to buttons at the bottom of the program and aong with the delete button it cut out the comercials . after that, i went to file>save as>and then the place where i wanted to save it. after awhile i went back (well really 2 hours) and i could not believe what i saw the file it was creating was 96gb just in the video . i checked my e drive and sure enough only 15gb left (i had 121 left). so i stopped it and retreated here . is there a place to learn how to edit out commercials for this proggie lol i made a biiiig mistake thanks
Well this Is simple...If you are Doing Just Cutting out of Commercials then you have to set the "Video" and the "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copy" (That is if your Captured file is In AVI format).....
