Help - Panasonic SA-HT878 DVD player (home theater sys)

    How do you disable the on-screen volume display on the above mentioned home theatre system ? I've tried everything I can based on the user manual, but I'm hoping somebody knows how to do it.

    My Panasonic DVD/CD Player DVD-S27 says to go to the DISPLAY TAB,
    then to On-Screen messages to turn on or off.

    Thanks for the idea, but I tried that, the only messages that it stops displaying are the forward, pause and rewind signs that come up in the corner when you perform one of those functions. Unfortunatley the volume on mine, stays.
