Hi all, I'm new to all this and just looking into all the availble hardware there is for the DS flash cards. Basically the requirements I have are below and I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice on which hardware would be best (for a DS Lite). GBA and NDS support MP3 support NO flashing the firmware on the DS (this is very important) Ideally with expandable Memory and no game patching. From what I have been reading it would seem that my best option would be to use two different units. Get a DS-Extreme for the NDS files Get a Supercard or M3 for the GBA and MP3 I dont mind getting two if it means less hassle and no flashing of the DS firmware. I'm I right in this or is there a better solution. The NinjaDS looks a better then the DS-Extreme from what I can see as it uses SD cards but I cant find any up to date user feedback (everything i have found so far is old information with people bitching about the size of it, nothing about the new smaller versions). Thanks for any help. (Ps sorry for yet another thread that is similar to the 100 others on here, have been reading through and just really wanted some confirmation (and to see if anyone has used the NinjaDS ).
im new too, but i got about 4 days exp now. i posted very similarly to ya. for gba support, i would reccomend the m3 lite. (expandable via microsd's, high compatiblity, no patching for gba games, media, emus, etc.) for nds support, you should pre-order the m3 ds simply. since it aint out yet these are speculative for the most partexpandable via microsd's, high compatiblity, no patching for nds games, media, emus, passme functionality [for working with the lite], etc.) these two can be found on many modding sites. i found both together at modchipstore com for 119.95 + s&h (no microsd included, but reader [for pc] is). hope i helped.
I recommend a G6 lite.It has 100%GBA compatibility in 100% NDS compatibilty. Or get a DS-X,or M3 lite
