ok im kinda new to the dvd burning world i know the basics and such... ok i been burning dvds with dexrypter and srhink ok well...now any dvd and nero... but the point is that they look good....but i been wating to experiment with mpeg4...... i was wandering does mpeg-4 look better that mpeg-2? well there are different settings on nero like: hdtv, sdtv, and AVC which would better? oh and i wanna play it on my dvd player.. i have a a regular panasonic progresive scan dvd player.. uhm it has a sticker that says compatible with: cd-r, mp3, windows media and its played a movie of a cd-r before so will it play mpeg-4 avc?
MPEG4 uses more compression than MPEG2. So to answer you question if it would look better, no. Check out the Glossary tab on the top of the AfterDawn web page. Read about the differences.
