hi just wondering if anyone could give me sum advice, my PC has a optorite DDO405 and i use dvd shrink, daemon tools and nero (and sumtimes dvd decrypter) and i used to backup my dvds with no dramas, but recently when i put a dvd in the drive (any cd/dvd for that fact) the pc will either not recognise the disc or will freeze the pc. running win xp, 3.2ghz p4, 1gb ram, any ideas anyone>?
you wouldn't happen to have nero & copy to dvd installed at the same time because one time whenever i tried to use a burning program with these two installed my computer would shut down with the Blue screen of death, once i uninstalled copytodvd my computer was fine... have you tried using ccleaner or another alternative to clean your registry... if all else fails you could try doing a system restore...
