HELP Please - DVDXpress - Burn MPG to DVD

    Recently purchased ADSTech DVDXpress.

    Direct to Disk feature seems to work fine to copy entire VHS
    tape to DVD but I want to burn to DVD only selected portions
    of VHS family videos.

    Captured several clips from tape and saved to hard drive as
    .MPG files.
    Burned .MPG files to DVD-R disk but disk will not play on
    DVD player.

    What am I doing wrong ?
    Won't .MPG burned to DVD play on DVD ?
    Your assistance is appreciated.

    Will the burnt copy play on the pc?

    First convert ANALOG (VHS) to DIGITAL.
    Save DIGITAL to HARD DRIVE.
    Use a program i. e. ULEAD VISUAL STUDIO 9 to edit your DIGITAL video.
    Make a video with the edited portions and than burn it to a DVD.
    Add sound or music...watch it on your TV or PC.
